Like many females, I was disappointed when Joe Mauer tied the knot this past December—happy, but disappointed. Any disappointment I had was wiped away by the hilarity of these circumstances. Yes, if you read that URL carefully, you will see that Joe Mauer is to become a father…of twins. And he plays for Minnesota! Get it? He’ll have Minnesota Twins? Haha funny.
In all seriousness, congratulations to the Mauers. Know that you’re going to be doubly blessed and that you have made legions of people chuckle.

Why, none other than “Hammerin’” Hank Aaron! The home run king turned 79 today and is still kickin’, from what I hear. A very happy birthday to one of the best players of all time.
